California Design 2002 / Mixed Media Luci Lytle - Berkeley, CA - "Corrugated Mosaic Room Divider Screen" - 2000 - H: 70" W: 60" D: 1" Made primarily of recycled materials. The core of the panels is corrugated cardboard from a Sun Microsystem mainframe computer shipping carton. The fabric hinges are held in place with oversized bolts. The face has been created in a style the artist calls "Corrugated Mosaic" and the reverse side is covered with Peets Coffee bags printed with a mudcloth design. When finished, it was sprayed with a protective layer of varnish to seal the surface.
